2020 Startups is seeking a superstar community manager with long-term vision! This position has the potential to turn into a full time Assistant Director role come Fall 2017. This is perfect for a candidate seeking an exhilarating, creative and growth-orientated leadership position immersed in an entrepreneurial ecosystem of startups, visionaries, influencers, investors, publicists, senior executives and industry business leaders. 2020 Startups is also providing paid and non-paid internships for Fall 2016 accelerator program.
Qualifications:
Recent graduate, in-school professional or experienced ninja
Marketing, business, public relations or communications background
Social media savvy, tech savvy, loves startup culture, networking and critical thinking
Responsibilities and Abilities:
Ability to be an outstanding liaison between startups, vendors, investors, and media
Communicate in person, email and on the phone as an office coordinator
Work cross-functionally between PR, Marketing, Programming, Event Planning, etc.
Manage outsourcing online through Upwork, Fiver, Envato, etc.
Have a good understanding of basic business models, methods, funnels, startup terms etc.
Enthusiastic about learning, growing, networking, and co-evolving
Self-motivated and extremely passionate about Startup culture
Ability to present clear messaging and be a persuasive communicator
Ability and passion for creative storytelling (blogging/copyrighting)
Overall organized, efficient, punctual, and a team player
Compensation:
$15 an hour
Office Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 10 AM-4 PM
Hours Per Week: 25
