In a city saturated with Startups, mundane cubicles, tacky board rooms and antiquated wallpaper patterns, the 20th Floor of 150 Broadway hosts a rather fresh perspective on Startup Culture.

The 2020 Startups Q4 VIP Kick-Off on September 7th welcomed a top-class of 12 participating Startups who were selected from a pool of over 100 applicants in over a dozen countries. The Kick-Off event gave participants a chance to present their ventures and meet a plethora of partners, leaders and influencers within the 2020 ecosystem.

The event featured a welcome ceremony with a gourmet sushi bar, an introductory panel unveiling each participant's venture, a heartfelt keynote from David S. Rose, and an award ceremony celebrating the individuals who dedicate their work to empower entrepreneurs.

The Q4 cohort featured a diverse list of highly talented Startups within travel, health, dating, language, transportation and "AI" Hi-Tech platforms.

The keynote by David S. Rose was a real treat. As I recall, Mr. Rose cemented that "entrepreneurs are the engines that move societies". Mr. Rose is a serial entrepreneur and legendary angel investor who has over 3 decades of experience in the Startup world. His participation and contribution to this event provided an invaluable perspective for the eager entrepreneurs.

The evening concluded with the recognition of a few individuals who received 2020's well deserved "Visionary Awards" for their contribution to Startup Culture and entrepreneurial empowerment. As seen below Mark Gold, Lucy Norris (on behalf of Chaim Haas) David S. Rose, and Marcos Dinnerstein holding the 2020 Visionary Awards.
