Jabord, Inc. CEO, Joe Astill
Jabord is born out of more than 17 years of recruiting, and a desire to create connections. Our CEO, has been featured on Bloomberg TV discussing the changing employment market. In 2016, our CEO joined forces with experienced tech co-founders to build a more intuitive and informative delivery of the otherwise boring resume. This approach gives the candidate an opportunity to truly showcase their skills and personality, as well as allow the recipient to fully understand the candidate before they potentially waste 45 minutes of their time interviewing them. The company also wants to reintroduce a modicum of discretion in the job search, not available with public social media. As we started to design our product, we realized how much opportunity we have to deliver a more comprehensive recruitment process.
As we moved forward, we gave rise to a core belief of “Why Stop There…?”, something we hope everyone with a Jabord profile will embrace. Finally, we want to give opportunity where it may not otherwise exist. We want managers to see past typical Ivy League resumes and applicants. We’re more than another job site!

LOCOMeX, Inc. President, Ayo Jemiri
In 2009 I started a small consulting & advisory firm called "CG Global Management Solutions" (CG Global), based out of Philadelphia. CG Global is a small business professional services firm that delivers energy, utility, real estate, finance and accounting services to address clients’ critical business needs. By 2012, I was able to expand CG Global service offerings into the emerging market of West Africa (Nigeria), engaged in aggressive business development.During this time I was able to secure some key consulting engagement contracts with Nigeria government agencies, US-based clean energy original equipment manufacturers, financial institutions, energy companies, Nigeria energy regulators, international development agencies (World Bank & UNDP), etc.
The experience I gathered while leading CG Global was put into use for further research & development (R&D) for the LOCOMeX Platform concept and later leading to the founding of LOCOMeX, Inc. in May 2011. Since the founding of LOCOMeX in 2011, the platform concept has undergone further R&D both in United States and Nigeria. Over the years, LOCOMeX have achieved the following in its short startup lifecycle:
Press coverage of LOCOMeX platform solutions and conference presentations in Nigeria (2011 - 2012).
Strategic partnership discussions held with SAP, Oracle & Microsoft for integrating the LOCOMeX platform in Nigeria (2012).
LOCOMeX concept whitepaper submitted on a World Bank - UNDP funded consulting project to the Nigerian government in 2013.
Advance discussion on potential strategic partnership with a key energy regulator in Nigeria to utilize the LOCOMeX Platform for regulatory compliance to government localization (local content) regulation & laws (2013).
Developed and launched LOCOMeX Platform Cloud-Based Prototype Demo (2016).

S.Cuff Hybrid Swimwear Founder, Scottie Cuff
While in the military I was able to maintain a healthy and fit lifestyle. After completing my service, I became a single dad and lost my fitness peak due to lack of going to the gym. I was subconscious of my body and didn't like any of the swim shirts on the market. As a result, I created my own swimwear line. My goal is to create casual, comfortable swim leisure shirts and shorts for men. In addition, I plan on creating hybrid work leisure shirts and chinos for women.

Claut Digital President, HC Lau
Claut is a multicultural marketing agency that helps your brand to better market to Asian consumers. We believe in helping brands build meaningful relationships with Asian consumers, whose different language and values often make it hard for brands to do so. The founder of Claut founded the firm after learning how expensive it can be to hire agencies in China, as well as all the hassle that comes along with it. The 12 hour time difference, the language barrier, the lack of transparency and the high costs are all contributing factors to the frustration. Claut will be your one-stop-shop agency for all marketing services to help your brand navigate the Chinese digital space.

Caribaby Natural Baby Foods CEO, Raquel Virgo
Raquel Virgo is a Norwalk, CT-based, NYC-raised mom of two and nonprofit fundraising professional who has spent most of her time raising millions of dollars in support of social justice and other causes in NY, CT, and nationally. She is the founder of Caribaby Natural Baby Foods, which was conceptualized nearly five years ago when she was unhappy with the baby food options in stores because of their use of preservatives, and bland flavors textures that didn't reflect what her daughter and other children would actually eat at home. Not only did she make food that actually mirrored the dishes she would prepare for her family, but the blended purees and other baby food combinations would become a hit among family and friends that she shared with. Caribaby emerged as the solution to her own problem - and that of many parents/moms - it would not only provide her children with good, nutritious food sans preservatives, but it would provide families an alternative that would also give infants and toddlers an early introduction to diverse flavors and textures to broaden their young palates, thus minimizing the likelihood of having "picky eaters".

Solight Design Founder, Alice Min Soo Chun
Solight Design, is a FOR-Profit Company located in New York City. The first product that we are developing for global distribution, is a patented solar light assembly called the SolarPuff. Alice MinSoo Chun is the original inventor of the US Utility and Design Patent. The idea was first developed in 2009 after many years of research in photovoltaics and thin film substrates. The research Alice conducted during the years 2004-2010 provided the first prototype in 2009, while she was teaching at Parsons the New School and at Columbia University. In 2010 she shared all of her research and knowledge and collaborated with students on the idea of an inflatable solar light. After the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, she worked with and shared the ownership of the patent application of solar inflatable light with two of her students. After much research and testing, the design was improved upon to become SolarPuff, using recyclable materials, light diffusion, and origami folding design.
